Our Modern British Plus weekend is a celebration of the very best British ingredients, combined with a fusion of flavours, modern cooking and presentation styles.
British cuisine has evolved over the last decade or more to incorporate ingredients and trends from around the world and on this course we use the finest local ingredients to showcase the many flavours and influences that make modern British food so exciting.
You will be working with the finest meat, fish and seasonal ingredients to create delicious restaurant quality dishes.
Succulent lamb, venison and the finest fresh fish - we take the hearty dishes of yesteryear, but bring them up to date with an imaginative twist and modern presentation.
The recipes and skills are designed to teach you two full dinner party menus but the skills you will learn will enhance your everyday cooking as well and you will be bursting with confidence at the end of the course.
You can expect to learn lots of new skills and techniques across the weekend, work with some amazing produce and will have a lot of fun.
You will enjoy a sit-down lunch with wine featuring some of the dishes you have prepared during the day.
You will be able to take away the additional items you make in the afternoon to enjoy at home. Recyclable containers are provided.
