Master the art of Bread & Baking

Our week-long Artisan Bread and Baking course is aimed at home cooks who want to master the art of Artisan Bread and Classic Pastry and Baking work. During this course you will learn all the practical skills needed to successfully create a wide range of breads and baked goods at home.

Learning from our experienced tutors you will learn the skills needed to make a wide range of breads, from quick pan breads to long slow fermentation and high hydration bread doughs. You will also work on a wide range of sweet and savoury bakery items, such as a delicious pear and ginger cake, savoury cream horns, crumpets and peanut cookies to more complex laminated doughs such as classic French puff pastry mille feuille with a modern twist.

By the end of the course you will have a good repertoire of recipes and you will have gained the understanding and the science behind the techniques and ingredients which will fill you with confidence to adapt and follow recipes at home.

On the final day you will complete an array of different bakes to take home with plenty to share with family and friends.
