One Day - Level 1 Foundation Certificate in Wines

The course provides a basic introduction to the main styles of wines available in most restaurants. It can be used by professionals and the amateur enthusiast as the first step in wine appreciation. The course enables you to identify the main styles of wine available and the main grape varieties as well as understanding the basic principles of food and wine matching. At the end of the course you may take the WSET exam at the national exam rate. Allow a further 1 hour. A minimum of 6 hours tuition. A light lunch, course book, all wines and a set of six ISO tasting glasses is included in the course.
